Stay in Cabins
Renting a cabin is a good idea for a bachelor and bachelorette party. Because many people enjoy being in nature but may not enjoy sleeping in a tent, renting a cabin will allow you to enjoy all of the advantages of camping in nature without roughing it. There are 6 beautiful river cabins at the Resort which include many modern conveniences such as comfortable beds, air conditioning, indoor plumbing and kitchen facilities. Cabins sleep 4 adults and are located on the river. Use the cabins as a base to start your adventures on the river or at the local wineries.
Glamp the Night Away
If you want a true camping experience, you will want to rough it or glamp it! This means you will only take the bare necessities for living, such as a tent, sleeping bag, water, a few pairs of clothes and food. Some expert campers choose to catch their own meals by hunting or fishing and cooking their game or fish over the campfire. If everyone in attendance loves to rough it, a camping trip can make for a very fun party. Keep in mind you can rough it or add a touch of comfort by glamping it at the Resort. We can provide you with tent rentals, meals and activities, so all you have to do is celebrate!
River Rafting
Similar to beach hopping and pool lounging, rafting will allow you to be on the water most of the day. With river rafting comes whitewater rapids, and riding the rapids is especially exciting when it is a guided trip on the American River. We have rafting trips departing from the Resort on a daily basis and trips are offered for all levels of experience. Wine Tasting/Beer Tasting
With over 20+ wineries located within an hours drive of the Resort, a wine tasting trip makes for a perfect bachelorette party. There are also a dozen microbreweries between Auburn and Placerville, and just like wine tasting, spending a day on a brewery tour is an awesome experience. We can organize your trips and provide you with a safe and sober driver and shuttle vehicle.
