If you’re on a tour of Gold Country, you can’t pass us up – Coloma is where the Gold Rush began when James Marshall discovered gold at Sutter’s Mill in 1848. This historic site, and Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park, is a five minute walk from the American River Resort.
